Atelier Care Guide
The Art of Preservation
Couture hair rewards devotion. Follow our atelier rituals to keep your wigs and raw bundles pristine — luminous, supple, and endlessly wearable.
Wash
The Cleanse
- 1.
Detangle gently from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb before water touches the hair.
- 2.
Run lukewarm water — never hot — downward over the hair to preserve the cuticle alignment.
- 3.
Lather a coin-sized drop of sulphate-free shampoo between your palms, then smooth it down the lengths. Never scrub or twist.
- 4.
Rinse until the water runs completely clear. Repeat only if there is visible product build-up.
Condition
The Nourish
- 1.
Apply a rich, silicone-free conditioner mid-length to ends, avoiding the lace or wefts.
- 2.
For raw hair, treat weekly with a deep-conditioning mask for 15–20 minutes under a warm cap.
- 3.
Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the product evenly while the hair is saturated.
- 4.
Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle and lock in a glass-like sheen.
Dry
The Air
- 1.
Pat — never rub — with a microfibre towel to remove excess moisture.
- 2.
Air-dry on a wig stand or lay bundles flat to maintain the natural wave pattern.
- 3.
If you must blow-dry, use a diffuser on the lowest heat and a heat protectant.
- 4.
Never sleep on wet hair; it is at its most fragile and prone to matting.
Style
The Sculpt
- 1.
Always apply a heat protectant before any hot tool. Keep irons below 180°C (356°F).
- 2.
Curl or wand in sections, allowing each to cool fully before releasing the shape.
- 3.
For a sleek finish, use a light serum — a single drop — smoothed over the lengths.
- 4.
Limit heat to twice weekly; embrace flexi-rods and heatless sets for everyday waves.
Store
The Rest
- 1.
Store wigs on a silk or satin wig stand to preserve cap shape and hairline.
- 2.
Keep bundles in their silk pouch, laid flat, away from direct sunlight.
- 3.
Wrap your own hair in a silk scarf at night to reduce friction on any installed piece.
- 4.
Rotate between pieces to let each rest — this extends a collection's life to 2–3 years.
Wigs & Bundles, Distinctly
The same devotion, two disciplines. A few nuances honour the craft of each.
Wigs
- Wash on a wig stand, lace facing out, every 7–10 wears.
- Bleach knots once; avoid re-bleaching to protect the lace.
- Keep conditioner away from the cap to prevent shedding.
- Store on a stand to preserve the hairline and cap shape.
Raw Bundles
- Wash in vertical sections to keep wefts aligned.
- Deep-condition weekly — raw hair thrives on moisture.
- Air-dry flat to retain the natural wave memory.
- Braid loosely before bed to prevent tangling at the nape.
